Because I have a male model I don't need to concentrate on make up or the appearance of their hair and so forth. The entire look is emphasised through the clothing therefore, I will have to pay special detail to the clothing I dress my model in.
I want to create a very simplistic look, to mirror the setting of being in the field and everything being quite casual, however, also to have an indie twist on it so perhaps dress my model with certain accessories;
- Trouser Braces
- Bow Tie
This look includes the use of the braces and does portray a very casual look however, it appears to be too country and not very indie. I would perhaps reconsider the size of the braces, instead have skinny braces instead of these think ones. I would also button up the shirt and put on a bow tie to make it seem dressy however, also as if you could be seen in a field dressed like this. I will use the idea of rolling the sleeves up however, not so far up the arm but only partly, it reduces the harshness of having the sleeves down and a buttoned up collar.
This is the exact look I wish to re create; the white buttoned up shirt accompanied with skinny black braces and a bow tie. However, the only change I will incorporate is instead of having a black bow tie I will have a red wine velvet looking one, simply to give it a sense of variation on colour, creating something different. The rolled up sleeves prevents this look from being too formal and immediately converts into something an indie style person would wear due to its uniqueness but still illustrating an aspect originality and class.
