When selecting an audience to be the main target for a media product, it evidently results in taking a very stereotypical view on social groups and people. Although stereotypes are most likely far from reality, once averaged out among all people from that specific group it creates an 'easy association' someone with qualities of that certain stereotype can then be categorised into that group. Although this can be deemed as a very harsh view it makes determining an audience for your media product a lot easier. My particular audience that I believe my media product is aimed at is;
THE ALTERNATIVE GROUP

- Music Taste
- Shops
- Television Programmes
- etc

This particular image portrays that this specific genre/group is most defintetely interested in the media industry not just music genres but many other different types of media from cinema to magazines and so forth. Evidently illustrating how this social group is a vital target audience to the media industry.
